What does POTS mean?

POTS is an acronym for Plain Old Telephony System. This is a landline phone and is required for some clients. 

Please note that VoIP phones are NOT acceptable when a client requires a POTS.

Some providers do have landline POTS phones that plug into the modem of your computer.

Tip: After you read the opportunity announcement thoroughly, contact your internet/phone service provider and make sure that you have all the necessary requirements. Also, most clients will need no call waiting or voicemail on your phone line.
