What is the Verification Pre-Screening with STAR Team?

This screening is an identity verification performed by STAR Team Agency when you are invited to join. We do this to verify that you are who you say you are by comparing the name you provide STAR Team Agency against your social security number. This is because we all work from home and will not be meeting you face-to-face to be able to verify your identity. Providing false identity information will result in immediate termination of your contract with STAR Team Agency.
Additionally, you will be asked when you enroll in a client to provide ID and a picture of you holding your ID in order to verify proof of identity. You will not be able to use anyone else's identity to move forward with clients. This is a legal opportunity where you will receive pay by a company with a Federal Employee Identification Number that will provide you with tax forms at the end of the year. Do not attempt to continue under a false name or you risk facing criminal charges.
These are not criminal background checks. However, the clients that you can select to enroll in will perform comprehensive background checks that assess your criminal history and work authorization within the last 10 years. This means you could pass your Enrollment Prescreening but still fail your background check with a client.
You will not accrue any background check fees for failing your background check with a client while working in our network. However, you will not be able to get around or waive a failed background check.
Verification Background Screening is performed and confirmation is sent within 7-business days to your email address on file.
